Louisiana Genealogy - Grant Parish

Grant Parish, Louisiana is in Central Louisiana (colloquially known as Cenla), a world away from New Orleans in more ways than one. The local newspaper I subscribe to is The Chronicle, published weekly in Colfax, Louisiana.
Since The Chronicle is not online, I have received permission to reprint the obituaries for my fellow genealogy devotees. I've been saving them for a few years, so I'll be posting them as time permits.

Please let me know if you find them useful by leaving a comment. The comment section is at the end of each post (each different newspaper issue date.)

Or e-mail me: redbirdridge07(a)gmail.com.

About the Obituaries

Names are spelled as they appeared in the newspaper. If you'd like to make a correction, please leave a comment, or send me an e-mail. (Comments come directly to me. Your e-mail is not posted.) I'd be happy to hear from you.
